Specialties

Gems of extraordinary origins

Limited editions, unique vineyards, and winemaking processes that prioritize identity over intervention.

A collection dedicated to reinterpreting grape varieties and origins with an innovative vision, deep respect for Chilean winemaking tradition, and an unwavering commitment to quality.  Each Specialties wine is born from a singular terroir, shaped by extreme conditions or a deep connection to Chile's winemaking heritage, and expresses a pioneering perspective on what Chilean wine can be.

With only 2,000 bottles produced, this wine embodies the encounter between the winemaking tradition of the Chilean countryside and the pioneering spirit of Viña Morandé. Coming from the La Capilla vineyard, planted more than 130 years ago in the coastal drylands of the Itata Valley, this Cabernet Sauvignon offers a unique interpretation of the grape variety, marked by its exceptional origin and a vinification process that fully respects the purity of the terroir.

The vineyard is located on degraded granite soils, with a red clay matrix and a high presence of quartz, which allows for natural drainage and balanced water retention. Planted ungrafted, with minimal intervention and managed with animal traction, this vineyard reflects the living heritage of Chilean wine.
