During December, the results obtained from the famous and demanding wine-critic, Robert Parker came out on the North American web. On this occasion it was expert taster Jay Miller who evaluated our wines, giving them high points.

House of Morandé Red Blend 2005 – 92 points
The purple-colored 2005 House of Morande Red Blend is made up of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon with the balance Cabernet Franc and Merlot. It offers up a pleasing perfume of spice box, incense, a hint of balsamic, blackcurrant, and blackberry. Smooth-textured, ripe, and savory on the palate, the wine reveals excellent volume, intense flavors, and enough structure to evolve for 2-3 years. It will be in peak form from 2012 to 2020.
Edición Limitada Carmenère 2007 – 91 points
The 2007 Carmenere Edicion Limitada is purple in color with a classy bouquet of balsam wood, smoke, violets, blueberry, and black cherry. This leads to a medium- to full-bodied, savory, dense offering with loads of fruit and the structure to match. Give it 3-4 years to fill out and drink it through 2022.
Edición Limitada Sauvignon Blanc 2008 – 90 points
Morande’s 2008 Sauvignon Blanc Edicion Limitada is medium straw-colored with a nicely developed nose of wood smoke, floral notes, citrus, and fresh herbs. Smooth-textured on the palate, with good depth and plenty of savory fruit, this lengthy Sauvignon will provide pleasure over the next 1-2 years.
Edición Limitada Carignan 2007 – 89+ points
The 2007 Carignan Edicion Limitada is purple-colored with a nose of violets, pepper, and blackberry compote. This leads to a medium- to full-bodied, slightly rustic, savory wine with plenty of layered fruit, good balance, and a medium-long finish. Give it 2-3 years to fill out and drink it from 2012 to 2019.
Reserva Sauvignon Blanc 2009 – 91 points
Aromas of herbs, grapefruit, and lemon-lime; medium-bodied, crisp, with excellent balance.
